FAQ
🌿 Ethoria Sustainability FAQ
Are your clothes really sustainable?
Yes – we only work with suppliers certified by independent organizations such as GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), Oeko-Tex, and the Fair Wear Foundation. These certifications ensure strict environmental and social standards. We also use AI to check suppliers as much as possible and are in contact with them on different subjects.
Where are your clothes produced?
We partner with well-known suppliers Europe. Production takes place in Europe and Asia, depending on the brand. We always prioritize suppliers with the highest transparency and documentation.
What about transport and carbon footprint?
We use one main supplier for production and order fullfillment with a strong environmental and ethics policy. With two fulfillment centers in Europe, European customers receive their orders from within Europe – not from overseas. Our business model is **print-on-demand**, which eliminates overproduction.
What happens with returns?
To reduce the environmental impact of returns, products are reused, donated, or recycled whenever possible. We encourage customers to use our detailed size guides to avoid unnecessary returns. As returns and overproduction is two of the main issues in the textile industry, several more of course, like mixed fabrics etc.
Is everything organic?
Most of our range is made from GOTS-certified organic cotton or recycled materials. Some products use other certifications or in-house processes to minimize environmental impact. Each product is clearly labeled with its certifications. A few products has recycled polyester in it, as I see it we need to reuse as much as we can from the wast amout of polyester for some years. Some recyleclers also accept cotton polyester mix and polyester will make the cotton textiles stonger in many cases.
Can I trace my product?
For selected items you can scan a QR code to see the origin and journey of your garment. We believe digital traceability will become increasingly important and are committed to adopting it and try to push it as much as possible.
